homelab
A private, single-user backup tool.
homelab is a personal automation project. It runs on one privately operated
server and copies that server's own files into its owner's own Google Drive account.
It is not a product, it is not distributed, and it has no users other than its owner. It is
not available to the public and no third party can sign in to it.
What it does
- Connects to a single Google account — the owner's — to store encrypted backups.
- Reads and writes only within that account's own Drive.
- Runs unattended on a schedule on the owner's own hardware.
What it does not do
- No other person's data is accessed, stored, or processed.
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no telemetry.
- No data is sold, shared, or transferred to any third party.
